I've finally

come to see our political/governmental system and it's operators for what it really is and what they really are.

it took me long enough, but I've finally awakened to the horrors of this so-called "Establishment".

they're cold, cruel, non-caring entities who really and truly DO NOT CARE whether or not the average American taxpayer lives or dies in the streets as a pauper. all that is important is they receive what they're demanding.

when i say "government"...i'm referring to government at ALL levels. right from the presidency of the United States right down to the lowest paid custodian or laborer at municipal level.

we watch politicians stand at podiums giving lofty, patriotic speeches about how much they care about this country and it's citizenry in their bid for election/re-election to a political post or position they're running for. (what's an irony about MOST of them, too, is that most have never served in the armed forces of this country. it seems to be considered to be, somehow, sociably unacceptable to have been in the military amongst many if not most political circles nowadays. yet it seems acceptable to have been a drug user or dealer, convicted felon or political dissident to the point of being connected with terrorist organizations such as the black panthers or the nation of islam.) and somehow become so enamored with them we lose all concept of reality.

once these persons are installed and have been at their perspective jobs for one or two terms, all that's important to them is getting re-elected and they become the victims of their own personal agendas and greed; we, in turn, the taxpayer are victims to them and that greed and those agendas! some 'shining' examples are Charles rangle, ted kennedy, barney frank, john kerry, al gore, nancy pelosi...the list is too long to continue but these are amongst the most notoriously abusive ones i can think of at the moment.

why does someone like nancy pelosi care about "benefits"? she is EXTREMELY WEALTHY and can afford health care and benefits beyond our wildest imaginations and abilities, on her own...why do we, the taxpayer, give her the best OUR money can buy? why do they get held in such high esteem? they're out to get your hard earned cash...make no mistake about it! they will stop at nothing to get it and call you names if you vote "NO" for their causes.

answer: we shouldn"t...

it's POWER OVER YOU AND I that matters to the likes of her and her ilk. that's what really matters to them.

if you've followed politics at all you will have, no doubt, have heard or read the statistics about government employees and their pay and benefits; they receive much better pay and benefits than do the average workers in the private sector of the American economy. some of the statistics are staggering. such as how many federal government employees make more than $100,000.00 per year as compared to the private sector. along with that go nothing but the best in medical and health care coverage and liberal vacation/holiday allotments and a seemingly obscene retirement package.

congressmen and senators need serve but ONE term in office to receive full retirement benefits where the average American has to work 20, 30, 40, 50 years or even all their lives to collect any sort of retirement benefit.

well, to me, and it should be to you, too, it makes me wonder what's going on in that these extravagances are at OUR expense! all a person need to do for a fat, secure retirement is serve ONE TERM in the house or senate. (that may not be easy and I'll concede that point in that a person has to work hard to become an elected official.)

now, let me see if i have this right: we elect THEM to extort taxes from US to fund their extravagant retirements and we pay into our meager social security funds as well as support illegal aliens, and other select recipients, from that same benefit. we are FORCED BY LAW to pay into and when it comes time to collect benefits, WE have to jump thru hoops to get them...and some times persons are denied for petty reasons. all the while you and i are working, we pay for our health and medical benefits we receive, we also pay for the illegal alien and their children who are drawing health, welfare and educational benefits AND our elected officials PLUS WE ARE FORCED TO PAY INTO THE SOCIAL SECURITY FUNDING. so we pay three times...or more, for what we may, or may not, receive.

many people, public officials included, scoff at us that rely on social security and call us names like leeches, beggars or like. well to them i say; i was forced, BY LAW, to pay into that benefit...i am now collecting it AS PROMISED BY LAW...

wow! staggering when you examine it.

we here in California now have a returning, career, politician who's biggest ambition is to increase taxes in one way or another to "bail out" a failed system...a system he helped to engineer. he and his administration will help to crush the now faltering population of taxpayers left out there that still have a paying job. i am truly astounded and amazed voters re-elected this bushy eye-browed clown after the debacle of his first term as governor a while back. he's openly admitted he's going to tax us into oblivion...

it's not like we are "rich"...but they seem to think everyone out here in the land of the working man make hundreds of thousands of dollars yearly and can afford to be taxed heavily...this dummy, Jerry Brown, says "the people want to be taxed to pull us out of this problem"...what planet is he talking about? can you answer me that?

basically, what I'm getting at is that we, the voters, have let government get out of control.

we, through negligence and apathy, have allowed them to make rules that they PERSECUTE US BY...why should a government be allowed to levy a tax, or make a rule/law, that will render a person, or persons, homeless or destitute? it happens every day...like it or not.

let's say, for example, you become UNABLE to pay your property taxes, for one of many legitimate reasons, even though you OWN the house you live in...the county will eventually evict you to collect those taxes; likewise with the IRS and income taxes. they accept NO excuses and act without mercy...Oh, they say they will make exceptions and listen to you, but in the end, if you OWN ANYTHING AT ALL, THEY WILL NOT SHOW ANY CONSIDERTION OR MERCY!!!! that includes forcing you to sell the home you live in to pay them even if it's the only place you have to, and can afford, to live.

why do we allow these entities to become so strong????? they are supposed to be a "government OF the people, BY the people, FOR the people"; they have become so strong and convoluted they're out of control. our founding forefather intended for an elected official to serve one, maybe two terms and then return to his/her community and go on with life, NOT to be a career elected "official". that's a key feature to make it a "government OF the people, BY the people, FOR the people."

now, we, the voters, answer to them, NOT, they answer to us, the voter...that's a totally alien concept isn't it? would the founding fathers approve of the current governmental structure? i sincerely believe they would vomit if they could see it now.

airport security here in the US has "tightened".

the TSA is now using full contact "pat down" and full view body scan capabilities.

meaning the person(s) conducting the search will be able to "feel up" anyone they so choose at their discretion; your 16 year old daughter, your wife or girlfriend or, be able to "see" what they look like by way of a scanning machine. legal experts have openly stated that what they are doing is clearly illegal and constitutes a FELONY if you or i were to do it.

disturbing? you bet it is...at least it is to me.

what's next? i for one, have a pretty dim view of what may be in the very near future if the current trend continue.

if the present occupant of the white house is re-elected, i believe it will spell disaster for these united states.

it's difficult for me to understand, and accept, that the last presidential elections were a result of reasonable, rational, thinking Americans. i think we witnessed "buyers remorse" this last mid-term election,though. maybe, just maybe...there might be hope...IF Barry is voted out next election. in my belief...he is NOT a good person.

anyway...getting back on track:

will we have checkpoints set up through the states? will we have to get a travel permit and submit a travel itinerary? will states set up border checks and require 'passports'? will private ownership of firearms be more heavily regulated or taken away? will all forms of communications be monitored? and even more sinister, will surveillance cameras be installed everywhere? where will we be able to have any privacy at all?

what will the cost of "security" be to us as a whole?

i was astonished, yet pleased, to hear judge Andrew Naplitano, fox news legal analyst, say: "Freedom is not lost overnite. those who sacrifice freedom for security will lose both."...that, my friends, is the crux of the problem...where does it end?

in the end, the question is how much freedom are you willing to surrender in the name of security?

I'll tell you...it's fear...fear that the people will want them to enforce the existing law...so what does this administration say? "it's racist..." or "it's broken..."

i saw on the news today the Dems are now threatening the GOP with the IRS...

Jerry brown has used an illegal immigrant who worked for meg Whitman as a pawn. meg Whitman claims no knowledge of the woman being an illegal alien. the high powered feminist attorney, Gloria Alred was hired to do a hatchet job on Meg Whitman. what i would like to know is who is paying Alred? she does NOT come cheap! the woman she represents is not of the financially well endowed.

where will all this end? the very existence of our country is at stake. if the trend remains the same as it is now...we will surely perish as a viable nation.

the incumbent congress, president and his entire staff must be dismantled and replaced with knowledgeable, passionate, fair minded persons who will not try to set themselves above the peoples they are supposed to serve. they must serve the people in the way the people want them to serve.

history is not being kind to G.W. Bush, i thin history will not be very kind to Barry obama...so far he is a proven disaster.

if you don't believe me, just try to deal with governmental entities.

it's a very humbling and exasperating experience. you see what these entities believe about and how they treat the American citizen taxpayer...they believe we are nothing more than a source of revenue and are treated with contempt beyond belief by so-called 'public servants'. something to be destroyed if it no longer generates a revenue.

these entities have no care, compassion or thoughtfulness in regards to their responsibility to the taxpayer. are they not supposed to be "for the people"?

the 'average' citizen is NOT an attorney who's studied the law(s) of this land but yet when dealing with these entities, they are expected to be, by those he has to deal with that are in the entities, no matter the issue, he's met with the same old "you have to have this document filled out and submitted, along with a $50.00 filing fee" or something similar in nature, and you're expected to know all there is to know about the issue you're dealing with. you know..."ignorance of the law is no excuse."

in one recent incident, we were assessed a $45.00 "fee" for making a phone call to change a due date so we may make the deadline for payment to one notorious entity. what was so outrageous about it is the fact we were NOT informed of it until we got the demand in the mail! the agent i spoke to said NOTHING about a "fee" to make a change.

California's DMV is another shining example of such an entity.

from my own experiences dealing with this organization thru the years, i can truthfully say, I've come away, on MOST occasions, with a bitter taste in my mouth, a truly "lost" feeling and a loathing that has to be felt, and experienced, to be believed or understood. i can not recall EVER having a 'pleasant', LET ALONE AN 'ACCEPTABLE' experience involving the California DMV.

i believe the employees must undergo training in how to be obnoxious, overbearing and belligerent. i believe they must not have a personality at all, or at least, a bad one.

they must be given an award for being the organization with the most contempt for the citizen than any other in the state. although, in all fairness, it's difficult to single out one when you consider all the agencies within the state of California's stone-age government.

now, i don't know about DMV offices in other areas other than where i have done business, but there are signs posted: "anyone who uses foul, derogatory or inflammatory language, or makes threats towards a DMV employee may be fined, imprisoned or both."

that sign says volumes about those who posted it...why is there anger, foul or derogatory language being directed at them? why are they afraid? could it be because of what they do, who they are, what they represent? certainly, not truth and justice. nope...more like "gimme $XXX or I'll seize your bank account or your house...." is it really RIGHT, FAIR AND SERVE JUSTICE, to force one to give up a $10,000 automobile or even seize their bank account, garnish wages, etc in order to pay a $200.00 "penalty" or a "fee" they think they're entitled to?

i purchased a new truck for a 'retirement present' by the time i got rid of the truck, (for many different reasons; $120.00 for a routine oil change as an example) a short three years later, the registration fee had nearly TRIPLED for it! is it right for a state to RAISE fees as a vehicle ages and decreases in resale value? common sense and DECENCY dictate otherwise don't they? yet another example of perversion of "rules of common sense" by our so-called 'legislators'.

i wrote a letter protesting these outrageous fees to the head of the DMV. i cited a court ruling i had researched that said they WERE illegal and protested that nearly $800.00 was unreasonable to register a Ford F-250 pick up truck; i was informed, in return, that the fees were not illegal OR unreasonable.

these folks are NOT nice...they in fact are cold, hard, calculating, brutal, non-caring folks who don't really care if a person is ruined over a $73 dollar registration fee that they DID NOT owe in the first place. plain and simple, they have become what the "law" would call "extortionists".

there is a problem; a problem of massive proportion that exists now, inside of our governing entities, and is in dire need of change. we need to do away with or change, to a more positive, our 'collection' styled agencies. they need to have their teeth pulled as it were...they have become much too powerful and have gotten OUT OF CONTROL...period. they simply do as they wish...they should be stripped of the enormous power they have.

now, I'm not suggesting, nor do i advocate or condone a violent action, but rather I'm suggesting that we go to the ballot boxes and have these folks removed from power and replace them with persons who really do care and will render decisions and install rules and regulations that allow for compassion, understanding and justice AND meet with VOTER APPROVAL!

why is it so difficult for ANY governmental agency to accept the fact that their taxes are overburdening the average American, hard working, taxpayer? yet, most are demanding more and become really belligerent when voters say otherwise.

i think if you could lift the blindfold from the statue of the lady justice with the balance beam in her hand, you'd find tears streaming from her eyes over the perversions that're being passed off by our institutions as being "justice".

i never cease

to wonder why the American voter has allowed the governments we are "governed" by to get so out of control. do you ever think about that? you certainly should. after all, WE, the voter, are responsible for the travesty that's now taking place at all governmental levels.

WE have allowed these bullies, thugs, self-centered, biased, corrupt 'leaders' to get away with trampling over everyone's rights...both right and left wing.

I'm convinced that most, if not all, of them, start out with good, honest, honorable intentions of doing the best, fairest, most honest job they can for their constituency. how else could an "honest" politician get elected?

that's not how most, if not all, end their public service. very few of them end their elected service jobs having been honest and having done the best job of their ability. it seems the longer they serve, the worse they become. some of the best (of the worse) examples could be said to be Nancy pelosi, ted Kennedy, chuck schummer, harry Reid, Barbara boxer, Diane feinstein just to name a few. most, when entering congress/senate are at a low income level, by the time they've been there for a few terms in office, they've amassed a fortune...how do they do that on pay that's in the low six figure level? i witnessed one congressman state: "we, here in congress, are among the most wealthy people in the world"

basically...this country is ruled by the very wealthy...like it or not.

it's a fact, the constitution gives power to the congress to levy taxes and it's true that all Americans know and understand the need for a certain amount of taxation on all levels...that should go without saying.

but what's insane about the whole issue is that's it's now got to the point to where taxes are consuming the average working persons' income to the degree it cuts into their ability to survive. it's not from just ONE source that is the problem, it comes from all levels.

now, what's a "fair" way to tax, you ask?

in my opinion, the governments, on all levels, should have NO RIGHT TO TAX OUR INCOME! period...end of story; the "government" has done NOTHING to earn what they take from us, yet...try not paying your federal or state income taxes (there are some states that do not have a personal income tax in place, though) you'll be in a world of hurt! they will try to ruin you for life over a $10.00 dollar 'fine' they levied for your being late in paying a bill.

i use that as an example because that actually happened to me. the tenant i rented my house to, while i did a temporary relocation from that locale, did not pay the water bill on time and they tried to levy a $10.00 "late fee" on me (the bill was still in my name...big mistake on my part! never the less, it was the tenants responsibility to pay the bill as per our written agreement.)

when i called to pay the bill, i agreed to pay the amount due MINUS their "late" penalty; i refused to pay the penalty.

at the end of the year, when i received my state income tax return refund, it was "docked" from it! the city had levied it from my income tax return! i never received a written word of notification, a lien or any legal documentation whatsoever!

since then, I've learned of some of the devious things that governments do on ALL levels such as that.

one, being the state of Arizona, as an example: if a person owes back child support, they are unable to purchase a hunting license or have to surrender one if they have it.

another being the state of California (one of the worse state legislatures in the nation i might add. but geeeee...look at who controls it: 85% demoncratic and 70% of those are women demoncrats, most are very pro-illegal immigrant, homosexual, anti-God, anti-second amendment)

last year, an organization named calguns, an organization of California gun owners who've banded together to fight California legislatures effort to outlaw firearms, was instrumental in circumventing, LEGALLY, laws pertaining to "assault" weapons features that has so angered the legislature that they now have proposed "registration" of ALL long guns and shotguns now.

there is NO PROBLEM with long guns and shotguns in California as relating to "crime". if there were, it would be being broadcast and printed in all the liberal press and media sources here! that is to say that's it's not common to see a 7-eleven be robbed with a hunting rifle...the legislative move is simply a vengeful attack on firearms owners in response to being defeated on the issue involving semi-automatic "assault" style rifles/carbines. it's also another avenue to confiscate firearms when the time comes as the law (proposed) will allow the state attorney general's office to keep a list of all long guns and shotguns and who they were sold to. and last, but not least, it's a potential source of revenue for the state. after all, California is desperate for money on ALL levels.

governmental leaders are all aware of this but do not want to change it for fear of losing their positions...it's that simple.

my point here is that we have allowed GOVERNMENTS, at ALL levels, to become EXACTLY WHAT OUT FOUNDING FOREFATHERS FEARED, by allowing these legislator to remain in office, or to get elected in the first place.

i shutter when i think of Charlie Rangel writing tax laws! i still shutter when i think about Ted Kennedy...yet we allow this type to go on...and to prosper...AT OUR EXPENSE!

here's what i propose...not all that could/should be done, but a starting point:

1. TERM limit of no more than TWO four year terms for ANY individual, in ANY elected position in ANY location, in ANY governmental entity, local, state or federal level.

2. limit income and EXPENSE ACCOUNTS to no more than the average American working family's income of $100,000.00 per year would be able to operate on. in other words, require them to travel/stay at hotels on the same basis the average American family does.

3. require EVERY legislator and appointed judge, to be incarcerated for two weeks every calendar year. (to an unknown, undisclosed, highly secure location. this might instill some humility when it comes to passing legislation involving incarceration. the united states has some of the most extreme laws involving imprisonment on the planet.)

4. do not allow legislators to exempt themselves, or law enforcement/judicial/administrative from laws. if it applies to the "average" American, it apples to them.

5. ABOLISH any and all income and inheritance taxes. abolish all property taxes once the property is owned outright, free and clear, by purchaser and limit the taxes to NO MORE than 1%.

6. limit ANY and ALL taxes on ANY level to NO MORE than 1%. if taxation is done by percentage basis, do not allow the MARXIST basis ("let those who make more, pay more...") of PROGRESSIVE percentages to apply. contrary to contemporary beliefs in legislative bodies, the progressive way is NOT fair! think about it...

i could go on but i think I've made a point.

for what it's worth, this country will not survive another term of Barry, what's his name? the person that's living in the white house?

I've heard it opined that "this president is too important, historically, to be allowed to fail."

what's that mean?

does it intimate that because Barry is half black? or is he half white?

"IF" Barry does fail will that reflect on black Americans? or white Americans? which will be blamed?

Barry IS a failure...period...he always was, always will be...he always was, and will always be Barry the drug dealer, Barry the community organizer...

oh, sure, he's (and his 'wife') been educated at all the best schools the taxpayers could put him through, but has he really been "educated"? not really...he's still in the 'hood'; you know..."i wanna be shootin' some hoops 'n' drinkin' a beer with da boyz..."

what really worries me is the fact that the American voters actually elected what's in the white house now! what were they thinking? what ever it was, i can say i believe they sure goofed up on this one and i hope we'll survive. we can't afford to have the likes of Barry in such an important position. we'll end up, as a nation, broke, so deep in debt we'll NEVER see the end of it, never be able to make enough to even pay our taxes as a "working person", let alone live 'normally' and become a third rate economic/political/military power.

it's fair to say that Barry is not the sole cause, or all to blame, for what's happening now, he's just where the shoe is falling at the time. but, i believe he will unseat jimmy carter as being the worse president in our history.

pure and simple...he should not be where he is...he's a Marxist/socialist determined to destroy our country as a viable, sovereign, independent, nation and relabel us as being a "global community".

it is my firm belief

the United States, as we once knew it, a FREE country, will, in the not too distant future, cease to exist as a united entity.

we are being torn asunder by our own congress, state legislatures and other 'special interest' groups within our own borders. the ACLU, planned parenthood, NAACP just to name a few.

current, and past, administrations have blatantly refused to enforce our sovereign borders, allowed minorities of all sorts, to become openly abusive to the majority, in fact they have encouraged it. don't believe that? look right within the walls of our own congress...the Black caucus...an openly racist organization of black American congressmen and senators openly biased to the causes of Black Americans...if the WHITE members of Congress tried to form a group of WHITE congressmen, can you imagine the outcry from the Blacks and the left wingers?

it's not legal for a child to carry a bible to school or to pray aloud in school, or to wear a cross or shirt with the American flag on it, yet the Mexican flag can be openly flown ABOVE the American flag...in AMERICA, in an AMERICAN state, in an AMERICAN city, in an AMERICAN school...IT MAY BE OFFENSIVE TO A MUSLIM OR MEXICAN! oh, it's OK for the Muslim call to prayer to go out in public, but why not the ringing of church bells???

I'll tell you what's wrong with us...we're a sick, sick country! we've let the left wingers, Marxists, like the current administration, push us around! we have turned our backs on God! that's right...i said it...we have turned our backs on God, as a nation.

oh, there's been up's and downs throughout our history, but nothing like now. just look around.

the era of the war in Viet Nam was the beginning of our end: "hell no, i won't go!", sex, drugs and rock and roll, burn the bra, civil disobedience ran rampant, the Watts riots, the Kent state incident, the founding of the ACLU and planned parenthood...the list goes on...

the Bible says that "in the end days, evil will be called good, and good will be called evil". one issue stands out above all in that context: gay marriage.

another is abortion. since R V Wade, over 40 million babies aborted and yet mankind is trying to clone humans...go figure. i agree with, and understand the concept of abortion in the cases of incest or rape. but, look at abortion in the cases of when a woman goes out, gets liquored up and has a wild night of sex without taking precautions? or is promiscuous? not only that...how about father's rights? there are men who father children that would gladly take custody other than to have the child aborted.

another is the abandoning of Israel as an ally and friend by pressuring her to give away her lands and trying to force her to give away more; the Golan Heights. since George Bush pressured Israel to give up the Gaza strip, ATTACKS HAVE INTENSIFIED not diminished! how does he sleep at nite?

our course may be changed by us if we so choose. it has to begin by voting out the current administration and occupant of the white house and replacing congress and state legislatures with RESPONSIBLE, GOD FEARING PEOPLE. if we don't...it's "So long, America"

there have been some

very troubling decisions made lately in our courts and legislatures.

one being the overthrowing of the voters decision, the approval of prop 8, on homosexual marriage in California.

i, personally, am not homophobic, nor do i support, advocate, or condone it; i am a firm believer in heterosexuality.

whether or not non-believers (atheists) like it or not, there is a God. an almighty God who does NOT approve of homosexuality. that's why the anti-God crowd push for "hate speech" legislation. God does say that those who REPENT are forgiven; as it does apply to all sinning.

I'm not going to quote scripture...read it for yourself.

history has shown that all cultures and civilizations who openly embrace, advocate and condone homosexuality decline rapidly...like it or not. that's not ALL the reason(s) but it certainly falls in to place in the demise of them.

it's been pointed out that some of the most notable peoples in history were steeped in homosexuality, notably the Trojans, the Spartans, Alexander the great and many within the ranks of the Roman legions; it's also a fact that it was advocated due to the lack of women on long campaigns. the leaders of the time knew and understood that their often times 14, 15, 16 year old soldiers were also battling hormones.

it seems very odd to me that the very same persons who deny and don't want God in their lives or in the public or government seem to want GODLY principles applied to themselves...you know, things like "tolerance", "understanding", "compassion", "patience"...all of those things are, indeed, Godly. read the Bible. it's all in there. like it or not...our laws are based on Judeo-Christian law...

we watched an interview with an ACLU lawyer who defends members of Al-Qeada on fox news yesterday...talk about a messed up person...it's no wonder our country is in such a mess. people like this are what will cause us to fall politically, morally and as a culture.

the more i watch the news

the more convinced i become that we are living in a time when idiocy reigns, where common sense seems to have been forgotten, where good is portrayed as being 'evil' and evil is 'good'. our children are being taught that to "have two mommies/daddies" is normal/good/acceptable, where it's a woman's "right" to have her unborn child aborted, where history is re-written to meet some minority groups agenda REGARDLESS of truth.

a perfect example is the time when the sculptor of the three firemen in the 911 disaster portrayed the three as a white, a black and a Hispanic when in fact it was three white firefighters! he admitted he wanted 'diversity' to be shown in his sculpture, not what really occurred! color, race, national origin or ethnicity had NOTHING to do with those firefighters! they were firefighters devoted to doing what they do best.

we have become so blinded by "diversity", "political correctness" or what ever you want to call it we have become paralyzed.

the state of Arizona is doing alright in it's new quest to protect it's citizens against the onslaught of "ILLEGAL" immigrants. that's more than the current (and most past administrations) administrations have been willing to do.

i saw in the news just recently the ACLU issued a warning about traveling to Arizona.

that's just great! the biggest, most openly ANTI-AMERICAN/ANTI-GOD/ANTI-DECENCY organization in our history issuing warnings about "profiling". the biggest promoter of "to hell with America" is issuing a warning...they themselves are a sham, travesty and should be banned from existing by DECENT, God fearing, law abiding AMERICANS...they're an OBAMAnation in the very fact they exist! in my opinion i place them one step above child molesters on the list of societal miscreants.

in this mornings news, i noticed that the flow of illegal immigrants and drug smugglers has DECREASED in a portion of a park closed by the state of Arizona and another bloody gun battle in Cuidad Juarez killed 21 people.

Friends, there's not usually that many killed in fights in Afghanistan.

we now have an administration that's blaming "guns from America" for the violence in Mexico.

where that may be, in part, true, it's not pointed out by the pundits, that those weapons are of MILITARY origin, NOT from the average private citizens source of purchasing LEGAL firearms here in the U.S. of A. yet another way the Anti-gun faction tries to declare another reason for "reasonable" gun control.

it ain't the guns causing the violence...it's the lack of moral, legal, fortitude on the part of our CONGRESS to act to secure our borders that's the biggest problem! congress is fearful they'll offend Mexico by closing off our borders to ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

most people who protest the closing of the borders to ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION are ignoramuses anyway. they have no LEGITIMATE reason other than they "THINK" profiling "MIGHT" be used by law enforcement to single out MEXICAN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. they seem to not be able to differentiate between "legal" and "illegal"...but more to the fact is they choose to ignore the law for their own purposes.

they're so illiterate and misinformed that they really don't understand the meaning of "ILLEGAL" and place all their misconceptions in the basket of "my buddy said..."

i don't know about you,

but I'm really sick and tired of Sacramento and Washington, d.c.

you see, I'm a gun owner, hunter and shooting enthusiast. i am mostly into air rifles at the moment as it's not really very practical for me to do much shooting with firearms due to financial, geographical and legislative restraints...in other words i can't afford to go where i can utilize a firearm more often than what i do to hunt/shoot.

California state legislature is now moving to "register" long guns. (long guns meaning: rifles, shotguns and carbines)

from what I've seen, read and heard, there is no problem existing with "long guns" as is related to crime issues. i believe it's a retaliatory, legislative move in response to the way the lawful gun owning citizens of California have responded to they way California has attempted to stifle the ownership of AR-15 style rifles.

California is one of the few states that are restrictive on the AR style rifles; most other states allow the AR's with few, if any restrictions on their physical looks and operating characteristics, such as a forward mounted vertical grip...removable magazine or having a flash hider or suppressor. the single largest operational feature that is controlled by most, if not all states, is fully automatic fire.

i agree with the concept of fully automatic firearms in the hands of the normal every day citizenry being controlled.

having used machine guns in the army, I'm aware of their potential uses, or should i say, abuses? full auto firearms should be used ONLY in MILITARY applications.

the "average" AR is no different, functionally, than many of the semi-automatic rifles that have been available for MANY, MANY, years to the public. they have a "military" look about them and that scares the bee-jeebers out of legislators!

in fact, if you'll turn back the pages of history a few years, you'd see that the public were allowed to own and use full auto up until 1934.

the infamous pair of Bonnie and Clyde were slain with, and they themselves, had the famous BAR...Browning Automatic Rifle. and you've no doubt, heard of the "roaring twenties"? well the "roar" was in part, caused by the famous Thompson sub-machine gun used by the gangsters of the era.

many of us veterans now, still alive, have used the BAR as well as the Thompson SMG so it hasn't been that long ago that they were still commonly known and used. the biggest reason they're not still commonly used is the advance in firearms technology that's prevailed; the gaining in popularity of the use of a "pistol" style grip being the most influential of all.

what is stunning, to me at least, is the blatant ignorance, or perhaps the arrogance, of legislators, is their ignorance of the similarities in function/operation that exist between an AR and the commonly available 'sporting' semi-automatic firearms. in fact, i doubt most legislators would be able to define what a flash hider's, or a muzzle brake's, TRUE function is. do you know what their TRUE functions are?

differences such as: the AR normally has a "pistol" grip with a removable, multi-shot (usually ten or more rounds) magazine and may, or may not have a forward mounted, vertical, pistol grip and flash hider or muzzle brake; while it's 'sporting' counterpart normally does NOT have a "pistol" grip, forward mounted vertical, pistol grip, flash hider and the removable magazine normally does not hold more than five rounds, yet is still as capable as an "AR" insofar as "firepower" ('firepower' being defined as being a rapid rate of semi-automatic fire in this case) is concerned.

there are a number of "carbines" available that have the same functional characteristics of an "AR" yet do not LOOK like an "AR", such as the Ruger P-series carbines. these carbines were, allegedly, made for law enforcement as a back up to their commonly used sidearms, but were widely sold to the public, too. they were made in the pistol calibers; 9mm, .40 cal and other manufacturers made them in .45 ACP. it's been opined that these carbines were discontinued because of their success as being a very good self-defense arm, NOT because they weren't any good. the Ruger P-series carbines also share magazines and ammo with the Ruger P-series semi-auto pistols which means a person, or LEO, can use the same ammo and magazines for his sidearm and carbine thereby eliminating the need to carry two different ammo's for two different arms. the main advantage, of the carbine over the pistol, being the range and accuracy factors (and the carbine will have more 'power' for longer ranges from the same cartridge due to the longer tube/barrel).

they are extremely reliable, rugged, easily maintained, easy to handle, accurate for intended purpose (that being define as being "combat accurate")uses commonly available ammo and powerful enough to be effective within the "self-defense" perimeter of neutralizing a personal threat effectively.

it must also be noted that there are many, many, sporting/hunting, bolt action and single shot, rifles available with "pistol" grips available, legally, in every state in the union; i happen to own two such rifles myself.

my point here is that: we must stop California state legislature...they must be ousted. their fear, paranoia and ignorance will turn us into a mini-dictatorship in the foreseeable future if we allow them to do it! their sick logic is depriving us of our God given and constitutionally given rights. if they get away with this, what's next? more than likely, freedom of speech and religion.

you don't think so? since 1900, there have been 56 million people die as a result of "gun control"...Hitler had "gun control"...Stalin had "gun control"...the Ottoman Turks had "gun control"...the Japanese and Chinese have/had "gun control"...idi Oman Dada had "gun control" ...what do they ALL have in common? you know the answer! or you should, at least...

I'm amazed at how some do not keep abreast on what's happening in our political world nowadays.

i recently had a conversation with a well educated (has a college BA)twenty-six year old, who's in a middle level managerial position in a well established business firm, who really has no idea what's going on today in our country as far as politics, legislation, or the direction the country is moving economically, socially or culturally.

i tried to make the point to them that it's now beginning to fall directly into their generations lap as to what direction the country will go, that they should pay more attention to what IS happening and what WILL happen if this administration is not stopped; we're headed right, head-on, into socialism.

that's right...Karl Marx and Vladamir Lenin would be proud of the current occupant of the white house and Nancy Pelosi.

in 1917 the Bolshevik revolution took place in Russia. a revolution that toppled 400 years of the Czars rule over them at that time the United States was a well established democracy/republic and, up to the last presidential election, still is...but...it WILL crumble unless we, the people, take back our country!

look at Russia now...is it any better off since the overthrow of the last Czar? was Stalin any better than Nicholas II? it has suffered dramatically under communism/socialism/totalitarianism/Marxism since those dark days of 1917.

in this day and age, we live under the tyranny of the minorities and of oppression of governmental "taxation"...between those two issues, i sincerely doubt this country will survive much longer intact.

we have allowed these agencies that are supposed to "serve" the taxpayer to get so strong they're nearly beyond reproach now. THEY NEED TO BE REELED IN! period! no if's, and's and buts...

they no longer are in a position where they need your consent and approval, they simply DEMAND you pay...if you don't, no matter the reason(s)...like maybe, having gone broke, lost your job/income, a catastrophic life changing event...you are punished, without regard, without caring, you have NO RECOURSE. you're told the home you WORKED FOR ALL YOUR LIFE TO OWN will be sold to pay a tax bill...a vehicle you have paid for will be sold to pay a tax you're unable to pay FOR WHATEVER THE REASON...NANCY PELOSI HAS TO HAVE HER JET FUEL TO COMMUTE DOESN'T SHE?

I've had the terrifying experience to have to deal with county, state and federal tax collection entities and have been IN THE RIGHT and knew and proved i was correct... yet it took SEVEN years, a mountain of documentation, countless hours of accumulating documentation, time spent on the telephone being shuffled from office to office, person to person, agency to agency along with a number of letters to the governor to get the issue corrected in one of those instances; another issue took TWO YEARS and an equal amount of frustration, expenses, and an enormous amount of time driving to and from the post office, on the telephone, and providing duplicated documents and forms filled out and submitted and FEES PAID.

simply stated...we need to get rid of these entities! they are eroding and destroying American lives, families and businesses on a daily basis.

everyone knows, and understands, that a certain amount of taxation is necessary, and, acceptable, for police, fire protection, schools, etc...but...it's reached a point now where taxes, fees, surcharges, whatever you may call them, are levied WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED and it's "pay up or else!"...YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! how much of your income is paid on in taxation in one way or another? direct or indirect taxes?

the taxation system is without a doubt right out of Karl Marx's "Manifesto"..."Let he who can pay, pay...the more they make, the more they pay..."

is that REALLY fair? why should someone who makes $250,000 a year pay 40% of that in federal income taxes? what's "FAIR" about that?

answer: "nothing"

paying a percentage may be fair, in the warped logic of a legislator, but NOT a progressive percentage...or if progressive, not so high. i believe NO ONE should pay more than 10% of their income for ANY amount they make.

i, as little as i make yearly, pay, between state and federal, income taxes, of 18% of my adjusted income; I'm no where near that $250,000 a yer tax bracket.

my, long retired 86 year old mother, with an annual income of around $24,000 yearly has to write checks to the IRS/state of California for income taxes...is that REALLY "FAIR"? i think not! in my opinion ANYONE, retired, over the age of 65, with an annual income of less than $75,000 should NOT pay state or federal income taxes...or property taxes on a home, their sole and primary residence, they OWN OUTRIGHT...period! why should government(s) have the right to take away something YOU have bought and paid for out of YOUR pocket?

but...in reality...federal and state income taxes SHOULD be abolished. both entities initiate a lotto...once a month, one million dollars, tax free, prize and a 1% tax on ANYTHING sold from a store or commercial retailer/wholesaler.

i could go on for days about this issue but to what gain?

I'll end this blog by saying: we the taxpayers should make it a policy to select AT RANDOM, one politician, from EVERY elected/appointed office/agency in existence, on every level, remove them from office, strip any and all benefits, pay or compensations of any kind accrued or earned while in an appointed/elected office simply because of the misery and destruction they wreak on many of their fellow citizens by way of their "rules, regulations and taxation".

maybe, just maybe...the quality of those wishing to run for "public service" might improve.

i recently read an article about mayor Daley of Chicago and his fervent anti-gun rhetoric. it shows how narrow, stupid, ignorant and arrogant many, if not most, have become towards honest, law abiding citizens and their right to own firearms that's granted by our Constitutions second amendment.

it's NOT within their lawful power to deny a LAW ABIDING citizen that right, yet they do...and get away with it. they then get angry and bitter if challenged; especially if they lose in court...as have many.

Diane Feinstein, Gavin Newsom and the mayor of Washington D.C. are classic examples of that.

as the article i read said, these people deny others the right to own a firearm and carry one themselves and most have the 7/24 protection of police. they advise all to "call the police" if self protection is needed...yeah...great... when seconds count, the police are minutes away...

I'm not advocating that everyone run out and purchase a gun for self protection simply because it's a right, i do advocate that EVERYONE should INSIST the government, state, county, city, borough, village, township, Parrish... whatever...RECOGNIZE and honor that right (and every other right, for that matter)

it's my firm belief that if 'They' are allowed to usurp your second amendment rights, they WILL step on other rights! they will not stop until you have no rights left. historically, it has happened, if you don't believe it, in England, Australia and Canada are prime examples. and, the list is much greater than that.

when there are "leaders" with the mindset of our current president and his AG you may rest assured that, if time permits, they WILL make an assault on civilian ownership of firearms, then what will be next? freedom of religion? speech? it most certainly WILL happen if we let it.

as i see it, some of the reasons things are so 'screwed up' now days here in the U.S. began with the war in Vietnam...the biggest part being the introduction of 'political correctness'.

we, the United States, became involved in Vietnam in, or near 1957, heck, there were still remnants of french equipment being used when i was in that neighborhood of the world. in fact, a marine patrol engaged, and killed, a former french foreign legionnaire who was leading enemy troops...he still had his legion Identity papers on him.

the U.S. could not wait to engage there for some reason...and yet we were told "you will not fire unless fired upon". now what kind of orders are those for soldiers in a combat situation? idiotic wouldn't you say? in order to defeat an enemy, you must find and destroy him before he finds and destroys you...it's that simple.

the united states had just emerged from a worldwide war...WWII...we, and our allies, had just finished defeating a pair of heinous enemies, Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany. it was a devastating war for ALL involved...our enemies included.

after the war's end, we entered a period of peace, rebuilding and expansion.

then along comes another involvement that is still controversial to this day, Korea.

this engagement ended with a cease-fire...not a victory. our congress could not stand the thought of a clear cut victory and fired gen Douglas MacArthur.

so a cease fire was agreed to and a line of demarcation was drawn. to this day, there are skirmishes between American troops and North Korean troops.

then a scant four years later, we entered Vietnam. one of the biggest quagmires in our modern history.

during the Vietnam era, 1957 to 1975, there spawned the "hell no we won't go", "burn the bra", "drugs sex and rock and roll", civil unrest in the streets all over America. riots on college campuses for any and all reasons...valid or not, movements. people looked for reason for civil disobedience; and still do for that matter.

Vietnam ended in a simple withdrawal with our losing the war POLITICALLY, not militarily!

a pattern has been established...WWII a clear victory...Korea a cease-fire...Vietnam a political loss.

a political pattern of loss? yup...look at what's happened legislatively since the end of WWII...we've come under the siege of the "tyranny of minorities"! just look around at the laws now if you don't believe that.

that gave birth to what we now see gracing the halls of our legislatures nation wide. the likes of the Ted Kennedys, Barbabra Boxers, Diane Feinsteins, Harry Reids, Charles Schummers, just to name a few...that REALLY, REALLY have no business being legislators. in fact, there are few, good legislators ANYWHERE.

in my opinion...for what it's worth...legislators like those are why we're where we're at today...standing on the brink of disaster.

they fear victory in any conflict for any reason or fear letting our troops, who go into harms way, do the dirty job of fighting wars, to win those conflicts they send them into. why? for fear they will "offend" the enemy!

one such example is Fallujah during the war in Iraq. the, then president, G.W.Bush would not allow the Marines to attack mosques. why not? may i ask? did not the enemy seek refuge in them and fight from them? did they not secret munitions and arms in them? YES! THEY DID...AND STILL DO! you've got to seek out and destroy the enemy IF you want to win, other wise, it's a "no win" at best...as long as the enemy is able to resist, he will. why bother to engage if there is no intent to win?

again...we have the capabilities to WIN...congress will not allow it. they'll fearful we will offend some one.

George Bush made the award winning plays of allowing gasoline to skyrocket in price, to nearly $5.00 per gallon here where i live, as an example, housing prices to get so unbelievably high that NO ONE that makes under half-a-million a year to purchase a run-of-the-mill tract house...i read in the news at one time the AVERAGE cost of the AVERAGE, previously owned house in the San Francisco area, was nearly a million dollars! i know it to be a fact, because my wife and i looked into purchasing a new house in this area (not San Francisco) for quite a lengthy time, there was NOTHING, available for less than $350,000.00...we were having a table repaired at a furniture repair business where we live near to and the owner told us that his mother had recently died and he sold her SINGLE WIDE, one BR, 1 bathroom, mobile, in a mobile home park on a "Postage stamp sized lot, that she didn't even own, she rented the space from the park" for $125,000.00! I've seen the park he spoke of many times; it is NOT the country club...believe me! he also, blatantly, ignored the flood of illegal aliens across the southern border saying "oh, they're just good, hard working people looking for work..."

now, we have a so-called "president" and "congress" who are very sympathetic to the illegal alien cause. they go so far as to applaud the president of Mexico when he publicly slams our laws of immigration while addressing our own "congress"! our own "president" says "our immigration laws are broken" ...huh? it's more like they're being ignored by the federal government!

residents of Arizona are being murdered, human and drug smugglers now invade the city of Phoenix and the corridor that leads north from the border to there, with relative ease and regularity. in one incident, there were enough of them that were well enough armed and trained to engage the Phoenix PD SWAT AND VERY NEARLY WON THE ENGAGEMENT! as i recall, a number of SWAT officers were badly wounded.

that's just one of many incidents that have prompted the leaders of Arizona to do what they did in passing legislation.

governor Brewer has written an appeal to, what's his name? the guy in the white house...to "do your job and protect our borders...". to date she's gotten no response from him.

the current head of Homeland Security, Janet Napalitano, former gov of Arizona herself, wrote letters to the administration asking the same and got no response. and...to boot...she ignores the letters from the governor now that she's head of homeland security. what gives?

Hillary Klinton blamed "guns from the U.S." as the leading cause of the violence. so...that will probably be this administrations response to the illegal alien and border violence; to attack the 2nd amendment and honest, law abiding gun owners here by punishing them for owning guns!

i read a recent journalists report on the guns the Mexican authorities have seized in raids, that stated that most were of foreign origin, mostly from the former Soviet Union, and American MILITARY arms. i even saw pictures of one such seizure that included an MG-42...a WWII German MG! now...the average American citizen is NOT allowed to own things like that or the M203's, RPG's, hand grenades and other fully automatic weapons that were displayed...

so how DID they get these arms?

as the journalist who wrote the article said: "more than likely from Mexican military deserters, corrupt Mexican military members selling to them, smuggling them across the border AND, they were given to Mexico by the U.S. to aid them in combating the drug cartels, but ended up in the wrong hands."

i ask you...why, if that's true, should the average, law abiding, gun owning citizen be penalized for that?

if the current occupant of the white house can't finish a sentence without an "uh" or stammering between phrases..what does that tell me? among other things...he should not be where he's at...period. (and look at his selection as VP...that verifies that statement does it not?)

this "meeting" with the prez of Mexico was a historical SHAM...we now have to be subjected to the politics of the government of Mexico. quite frankly, i don't give a damn if they do not approve of the Arizona law! they don't have to like it...they just need to respect it and abide by it when 'they' come here! what part of that do 'they' not understand? They would cry their eyes out if we tried to interfere with their laws, would they not?

Mexico is a lesson of what a nation should NOT be! it's known throughout the world to have one of the most corrupt and ineffective governments in the world. the only thing that keeps it afloat as a sovereign nation is the tourism and the U.S. enabling illegal immigration from within it's borders to flood north into the U.S. and send 30 billion dollars a year back there from the U.S....in other words: the U.S. is 'propping up' Mexico...

Mexico's history is similar to ours and is interwoven in many ways with ours and i think if one investigates thoroughly, they would find that the history of Mexico is so bloody it makes ours look tame by comparison.

every thing in Mexico has been accomplished by way of bloody revolution (remember Poncho Villa?) or conquest now the drug cartels are challenging the very existence of a central government that is in control. the "severed head" policy is now not uncommon in the streets of Mexico and it's spilling over into the U.S. because the U.S. government REFUSES to enforce the existence our sovereign borders. (it's odd that you hear very little, or nothing, of illegal immigration INTO Mexico isn't it?)

the Aztec, Mayatec, Toltec, Mayan, Olmec, to name a few, Indians were unbelievably cruel and bloody...history verifies this if you'll look. (some morons at SDSU protested the Aztec mascot recently and had it changed...they ignored the bloody and cruel history of the Aztec arrogantly and openly.)

the Spaniards conquered these cultures and nations by way of deceit, cruelty, force of arms and bloody wars did they not? come on now...admit it...that is what happened wasn't it?

again, review your history. didn't Spain cede California to the U.S. as the result of a war fought between them in the late 1840's and sign a treaty ceding California to the U. S. in 1852 in the treaty of Guadalupe Hildago?

what makes someone believe Mexico has a claim on California as it being "occupied Mexico"? they gave it up!!!! it's that simple...accept it...get over it! they lost a war...that was one of the consequences of loss was it not?

if you want to follow that logic, then Mexico must be returned to Spain, then Spain should return it to the Mezo-Americans...right? after all, that is what's "politically correct" is it not? oh, wait...could it be that there may not be enough Mezo-Americans left because they were killed off by the Mexican government? nahhhhh...could it be?

there's a storm brewing

in today's news, i read an article about a 16 year old girl who, protesting immigration laws, was warning motorists of a check point on the route.

her protest was aimed at steering ILLEGAL immigrants away from the check point so they could avoid having their vehicles impounded. she, and most other protesters, are so sadly disillusioned about their cause it's become nauseating.

basically, she's advocating breaking the law.

now I'm sure she'd be horror stricken if someone protested enforcing a law against someone who had robbed her home...she'd DEMAND something be done, as would most NORMAL, law abiding citizens...but...she and people like her are not 'normal' in a true sense of the word. they're racist to the core! they fear that the 'white man' is out to get them if they're of different color...NOT TRUE...just look around at some of the laws in force now: equal opportunity, rumford fair housing to name just two that i can think of right off-hand.

calling people names certainly does NOT make things easier, but it's come a time where a "A SPADE MUST BE CALLED A SPADE" or "A ROSE, IS A ROSE, IS A ROSE" or "A ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME IS STILL A ROSE" if you prefer...but these protesters are PERVERTED, SICKO'S!

once again I've heard "California is just occupied Mexico"...those who say that have most assuredly NOT read their history. if they had they'd see that since 1852 Mexico and the U.S. are different nations, BY MUTUAL AGREEMENT OF THE TWO. if they have read it, they choose to ignore it or are so bitter they're blinded by the FACTS. they are, without a doubt, the bigots, racists...IGNORANT ones at that...

is the best way to describe the 'protesters' of the law just enacted by the state of Arizona. the law was passed in support and as a direct result of federal law passed in the late 1990's.

not ONE of the protesters I've seen interviewed, have given an intelligent answer or presented a valid, argument as to what the problem is...IF there is, indeed, a problem. the worse of the lot have been the L.A. city council members...no rhyme nor reason in what they do...they, above all, should be able to READ THE LAW AS WRITTEN and understand it...but wait...that's expecting an awful lot of an elected official isn't it?

from what I've seen the average protester, is probably an illegal immigrant who barely reads and understand English, and doesn't want to get deported, who believes that L.A. is actually a part of "U.S. occupied Mexico"...WRONG!!!! there is a lawfully, internationally recognized, political, border that is NOT being respected.

i believe that L.A. should be boycotted...after all...L.A. is one of the leading cause of much of the nations gang related problems isn't it? they don't seem to be able to control it either.

the ignorant, stone age level, legislators pass laws for the whole state because of what goes on in L.A. gangs.

in the end, the wonderful state of Arizona may suffer some financial damages as a result of the ignorance, arrogance and lunacy of the racists who're calling for boycotts of that state, but they'll recover and go on, or they may not be hurt at all...

you can bet, this has strengthened my resolve to avoid L.A. anyway i can...they are, after all, calling for disobedience of law. it has just been added to my list of place to stay away from along with San Francisco and new york city

the time is past...or is it?

we, as a nation, have past our 'prime' and are now in the grinding, down hill decent into national oblivion. it's not a matter of "if" we fade into the pages of history as "once the greatest power on earth", it's when. i believe that current conditions, mostly of a political nature, point to that.

it is my belief, that soon, one or more state will secede from the union...sound familiar? can you say "civil war?", probably Arizona, Texas or Montana since they seem to be spearheading movements that defy the Marxist administration now on capitol hill. California? nonsense...California is under the control of illegal immigrants, homosexuals and feminists...they would not dare defy the Marxist in Washington D.C. at the time.

it began, in my opinion, at the involvement in the war in Vietnam.

Vietnam gave birth to the "hell no we won't go", "burn the bra", "drugs, sex and rock and roll", the civil rights movement, to name a few movements that sprang up during that 18 year involvement. that's right...i said 18 years...figure it out. the United states stepped into Vietnam almost immediately after the French withdrew. approximately 1957, the first American military "advisors" were sent to Vietnam; the last American personnel were evacuated from the American embassy in Saigon in 1975. you do the math. i know the math to be very nearly correct as i was involved over there in 1962 in the U.S. Army.

a few sobering, staggering, facts to relate us to history involving wars and their statistical numbers we have been involved in and associated with:

more (or at least, very nearly) are killed on the highways of this nation YEARLY than were killed in the entire 18 years course of the war in Vietnam. there was half as many soldiers killed on the last day of WWI, Nov 11, 1918, as were killed in the five years if the war in Iraq. the French, alone, lost six-million men in WWI. there were an estimated 55 million people killed, world wide, in WWII. Joseph Stalin killed 25 million Russians during his reign of terror, chairman Mao killed about the same number of his own Chinese people. nearly a million people perished in the siege of Stalingrad during WWII. Hitler murdered six million Jews, alone...that does not count the people he was responsible for in occupying, or invading, i should say, other nations, either. if you doubt these statistics, look them up...the information is highly visible and available for the asking.

the draft was abolished. a move, i believe, accelerated the downward spiral we're in.

think about it...we now have at least one generation of Americans that have not served their country, MILITARILY. they've not undergone the experience of military discipline, demands, needs and training that so benefit a person. as a result approximately 97% of our legislative entities don't understand what it's like to be in military service to our nation that is so vital it cannot be described. they have no idea what it's like to be out there in a bad situation where at any given moment you may be ordered to do something that may end in the taking of a life...maybe your own. or, for that matter, you may be in the position to have to give that order that may take life.

if you're getting the picture that i have very little faith in our leadership, you'd be right.

you see...i believe they're the ones directly responsible for us being where we're at now and i know that, beyond any shadow of a doubt, they'll, thru the abuse of their power, be our demise as a nation.

we, the voter, have allowed these legislative bodies to become so "politically correct" that they're now obsessed to the point of not allowing us to 'win' for fear of "offending" an enemy. as an example, we were killing Iraqi soldiers by burying them alive in their trenches if they refused to surrender and put up a fight, but a soldier would be punished for calling them a "raghead"...and, they'd certainly better not be swearing at, or cursing them while engaging them in a fight...make sense? not at all...common sense tells me that to kill someone is the biggest "offense" one can commit against another...that seems to evade our leadership for some reason. in other words: it's OK to kill them...just don't "offend" them in any way during the process...

what i would call "offensive" is: "should you meet an infidel who will not convert, smite his neck with a sword" and "a Jew is no better than a pig or goat and should be treated as such"...if you do not know the origin of those sayings...then look them up...here's a hint: it been called the "religion of peace and love" and "an honorable religion" by a, recent, past president.

my opinion is quite simple: Mexican citizen come here illegally, celebrate cinco de mayo, i have no problem with that. what i do have a problem with is that they DEMAND, to the point of violence against us, the United States, the host nation, we conform to their customs, language, beliefs and culture! furthermore, they DEMAND the rights and benefits afforded AMERICAN citizens.

I'd like to ask: what is broken? the laws? no...they are not "broken", they are not enforced...the borders are not enforced...ILLEGAL immigration is no longer considered by the sick, sick, legislators and system, to be illegal! our sovereignty is something that is no longer considered as being recognizable.

i would defy our legislators to try to cross the border into Mexico ILLEGALLY. I'd daresay, they'd be shot down like a rabid dog by the federalies or border police without hesitation.

i expect that soon, under the current way of doing business in Washington D.C., it will be illegal to display the American flag or symbols of American sovereignty as they might "offend" someone.

have we allowed Washington D.C. to lose sensibility? yes...we have...we, the voter, have allowed them to bully and coerce us into being a third rate nation; we're expected to capitulate before other languages and cultures that migrate to within our borders.

what puzzles me is that if a person, or persons, so values their borders, languages and culture, why do they come here and expect us to change OUR borders, languages and culture to THEM...why not just remain where they were? it would seem it would be easier to remain status quo than to change an entire culture to THEM...

when you combine passion, ignorance, incredibility, stupidity, a 'liberal' education of some sort...usually one that has been funded by taxpayers in one way or another you normally, come up with a legislator or an 'activist' in some shape or form...Jesse Jackson is a good example...let me rephrase that...he is an example.

the "average" American citizen...you know...the people like "Joe the Plumber" that dare ask the current resident of the white house hard questions...is now being pummeled by these legislator/ignoramuses/activists as being Nazis, Hitlers, racists,thugs to name a few of the names being thrown around...and why, you ask? it's really simple...they want the law, the laws of immigration to be enforced and our borders to be secured.

and yet if you ask them if they knew how Hitler came to power, i doubt they'd know he WAS ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE OF GERMANY in 1933...further more, he was invited to occupy Austria by the Austrian people.

imagine that...actually wanting a law enforced! why, that's down right unfair to single out a felon and insist they be subjected to the same laws and enforcement they (Joe the Plumber) are subjected to.

I've been listening to some of the interviews with so called "activists", legislators and even law enforcement officials...it seems the "activists" are the most ignorant with legislators running a close second behind them.

sheriff Joe Arrapiao was the most impressive of them that were interviewed. he is enforcing the laws as they are written and intended. for that, he's been criticized, condemned and called names by citizens and leaders as well.

it appears to me that even some of the law enforcement officials seem defiant about enforcing the laws that were enacted as far back as 1990's by refusing to allow their officers to engage in asking a detainees immigration status for fear of "offending" someone.

it's very easy for one to cry "racist" when a person from a different ethnic group says something about another person from another ethnic group. I've come to recognize, understand and believe that most of those who cry "racism" are themselves the worse racists of all!

the cry of "racism" is usually the results of their own inability to deal with their own shortcomings or a way of dealing with a situation where they believe they've been wronged and can't accept the reality that it's not their RACE that was the issue, it was due to the fact they could not meet a standard or criteria of some sort. again, i believe they're ignorant and ego centric to the point of not being able to accept the facts; common sense evades these types.

so there's no misunderstanding...i attribute the problems we have in this nation now can be DIRECTLY RELATED TO OUR LEADERSHIP...AND...THE VOTERS WHO ALLOW THEM TO REMAIN IN OFFICE! THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE...

when i was a young man, i used to get aggravated when my dad would say that to me.

now that I'm an "old man" i see that, more often than not, my dad was right in what he was telling me "what i should do..."

"what WE, the people of these united states, should do" is sweep congress and ALL state legislatures clear and start over, starting at the white house.

we need to re-write the rules and regulations that determine what they may and may not do and above all...LIMIT THEIR TERMS, PAY AND BENEFITS DURING THEIR TENURE IN CONGRESS/SENATE/LEGISLATURES. it would require amending the constitution(s) but I'm certain our founding forefathers would approve in light of what some of these "legislators" have done to convolute the meaning and intent of the constitution. and it's been established that the founders did NOT intend for CAREER POLITICIANS/LEGISLATORS TO CONTROL CONGRESS AND THE SENATE. THEY WERE INTENDED TO SERVE ONE, OR MAYBE TWO TERMS, GO HOME AND RESUME THEIR 'OTHER' LIVES in their communities. we now have those who have spent their ENTIRE LIVES sucking the taxpayers dry. (a well known, as drunken womanizer, one who was responsible for the death of a young pregnant woman, not his wife, comes to mind as one of many.)there another "shining example" is that of a fake, mannequin looking woman that was once a 'senator' but took the position of speaker of the house. it's been published that her estate is worth at least $25 million...the above named drunken womanizer was worth at least $500 million that he KEPT OFFSHORE TO AVOID TAXES ON.

in my opinion, for what it's worth, and I'm certain I'm not the only one with this opinion, there are VERY FEW legislators that are worth the effort it took to elect them, VERY FEW.

as i see it, and, again, i don't think I'm the only one of the opinion, that there are many signs of the imminent downfall of this country. there are signs all around us...but most pay little, if any, attention to them.

one of the single most damaging signs is the push for "diversity". there are different definitions of diversity. one being; "to divide". that's what's happening here. we're being divided. the American blacks, the American Hispanics, the American natives, the American German, American Christians, American Muslims, American Arabs, etc, etc, etc...each wanting and having their own culture, language and boundaries according to their OWN desires AND by creeping ever so quietly and surely into the very fabric of our laws by way of our "do-good, feel-good" legislators and the mindless courts that support them. in one town/city in Michigan recently, the Muslim population wanted to have sharia law enacted for the town/city. in another city the mosques sing out their prayers in public daily. why, christian prayers would be forbidden if it were left to the ACLU and the likes thereof. yet these same people championing removal of all symbols of Christianity, God, our association with, the forming of national beliefs and law structure are Christian based refuse to accept that fact!

we allow legislators to appoint KNOWN, OPEN ENEMIES, such as Ruth bader Ginsberg, Sonia sotomeyer, Eric holder and Janet Reno to name just a few, over a period of time, to positions of legislative, judicial and administrative power and influence that's it's beyond belief.

we as a nation, as a culture, as a people, allow the ACLU, and other similar organizations, to attack the very fabric of our existence. the ACLU...founded by a known, admitted communist (as was Planned Parenthood) and at one time headed by non other than a now, supreme court justice, Ruth bader Ginsberg. we allow one congressman who was a former member of the KKK to remain seated...the list goes on.

we should hang our heads in shame! the KKK is alive and well in the guise of some of these people under different names!

we allow people that advocate, encourage and support abortion, even to the point of live birth abortion and not telling an underage mother-to-be's parents, drug abuse, pornography, oppression of religion and freedom of speech, press, private property ownership and ownership of firearms, to sit in those places...we elect them! what's even more astounding is we RE-elect them, too!

all too often, many, if not most legislators, spend much of their time campaigning to get RE-elected, AT THE TAX PAYERS EXPENSE! the current resident of the white house, as an example, spent the two years preceding his administration campaigning. it is a matter of public record, he spent VERY LITTLE TIME PERFORMING THE SENATORIAL JOB HE WAS ELECTED TO DO1

we allowed a moronic, ineffective, president to give away the Panama Canal and allow the radical Iranians to hold our embassy personnel, in that country, captive for over a year.

we allowed another president to allow computer technology to be sold/transferred to a country that now has the ability to shoot down our, or any, for that matter, satellites with it and began a sexual revolution, of a sort, by championing the belief that oral sex is "not really sex"...i think he believed that oral sex is when you talk about it...and to look directly into a TV camera and swear, UNDER OATH: "i did not have sex with that woman"

we really are amazing aren't we? it's amazing we've made it this far...i will truly be amazed if a criticism like this will be able to written IF we RE-elect what is in the white house now...

we now have a huge controversy raging about the state of Arizona wanting to deal with ILLEGAL immigrants. California should pay VERY close attention to what's happening. after all California is dramatically impacted by the affects of ILLEGAL immigrants. after all, historically, didn't "illegal" immigrants from Spain take what is currently, Mexico, away from the native Meso-Americans by force of arms, treachery and torture? shouldn't Mexico be returned to the Meso-Americans? that makes as much sense as California being returned to Mexico...the 1852 treaty of Guadalupe Hildago separated the United States of America from Mexico whether the activist's like it or not...duhhhhh...let's use some common sense here, OK?

notice i used the term "ILLEGAL"? it seems many in today's debate over immigration cannot, are not capable of, will not, or all of the above, recognize the word "ILLEGAL" when it comes to the immigration laws of this country.

the current popular term used by many "activists", legislators and so-called, politicians, is "undocumented". but does that make them "LEGAL"? i don't think so...

it's like this: it is ILLEGAL, FOR A NON-CITIZEN, TO COME INTO THIS COUNTRY WITHOUT PERMISSION OF THE GOVERNMENT. what's hard to understand about that? it is THE LAW...like it or not. if you don't like it, work within the system to have it changed...but be aware..."change" may NOT be what YOU want it to be!

i watched a debate on fox news hosted by Juan Williams, sitting in for Bill O'Reilly, between a professor from Georgetown university, an American black, and a female, American Mexican activist from Arizona very pro-illegal immigrant.

in my opinion, the professor from Georgetown won the debate, hands-down! the pro-immigrant representative was arrogant, IGNORANT and obviously racist in her views and assessment of the whole situation.

why is it that the pro-immigration activists TOTALLY IGNORE the fact that no one is against LEGAL immigration? they're against ILLEGAL immigration! is that hard to understand and grasp? yet NOT ONCE do you hear them say "illegal immigrants" when dealing with the situation. there is, indeed, a BIG difference between the two in case they're not aware.

let me present this argument to you as an example...purely a hypothetical instance.

as it stands now, crossing our borders into this country, from ANY direction, south to north, west to east, east to west, north to south, by a non-citizen, thru a non-recognized/authorized, entry port, without authorization, is illegal is it not? if they do so, do they not break a law(s)? if so, should they not be subject to our laws? would it not be fair and correct to call one, a non-citizen, who enters the country thru an unauthorized place an ILLEGAL entrant/immigrant? and, again, does one who commits such an offense warrant being subject to the laws of the country they have entered ILLEGALLY?

if you can answer any of the questions presented above by saying "the laws are racially motivated" you need to read the laws! point out where is says that ANY RACE OR ETHNIC GROUP IS TO BE SORTED OUT AND DISCRIMINATED AGAINST!!!! IT'S BEEN POINTED OUT BY MANY FROM POSITIONS OF KNOWLEDGE AND AUTHORITY TO BE THE EXACT OPPOSITE!!!

I've listen to the rants of the likes of the Rev Jesse Jackson and find them to be, at the least, offensive, ignorant and biased to the highest degree.

in my observations, the ones who scream "racist" are themselves, usually, racists of the highest order; they need to "get a life" as it's said.

they also neglect to say that ILLEGAL immigrants are from many different sources, NOT just Mexico and Latin/central America. there's Russians, Chinese, Arabs, Ukrainians and many more. it just so happens that Mexicans compose the majority of them. is that "profiling"? yes...it is...but it's also COMMON SENSE. it's not sensible, or logical, to believe that our southern border would have a problem with North Korean ILLEGAL entrants would it? any more than it would be sensible to believe that North Korea would have problems with illegal Mexican entrants. this is where the ignorance, arrogance, racism and disdain that many "activists" have is often displayed.

in my opinion, there are VERY FEW LEGITIMATE advocates for ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. if there were, they would advocate that the "immigrants" subject themselves, voluntarily, to the laws of the land to gain legitimacy...NOT advocating the breaking of our existing laws, as they do now.

I've heard the argument about "breaking up families" by deportation of ILLEGAL immigrants...NONSENSE!!! let's say i break a law, equal to illegally entering the country, should i not answer to the law? if i were to say to the judge in a court: "your honor, if you put me in prison, it will break up my family". what do you think the judge will say? i sincerely think he/she will NOT say: "Oh, OK, just don't do it again". i also think you have serious problems if you think they would "OK" what you did...

to that kind of activist i say:

you believe that ILLEGAL immigrants should not be subject to our laws and i disagree! we have the right, and authority, to enforce those laws, whether you like it or not!

why don't you just move to Mexico? (or any other country you're trying to change us into being), it's easier to do that than to change our way of life here...wouldn't it be easier for everyone concerned? get a life

sad, sad state of affairs

I'm absolutely overwhelmed, and, appalled , i might add, by the fact the people of these united states have allowed governmental entities to get so out of control.

we live under conditions now where the government(s)can do most anything they wish with immunity; we have allowed them to run amuck...unchecked...unfettered...uncontrolled...runaway.

this fact has recently been brought to light by the act of one man flying his airplane into an IRS office center. where i certainly do not condone what he did, i understand it.

our culture has taught us to "get an education, work hard, save, invest wisely in your time and money"...

we as individuals have little, if any, control of the economies we are subjected to, but...if those economies go bad, we are adversely and directly affected by them; like it or not.

when things go bad for the individual, they go bad for all the entities we are subject to...then, without exception, those entities turn viscous against their own constituents.

in California's case, they retaliate by increasing, at unreasonable rates, automobile registrations, as one example.

how soon the people forget! a governor of the state of California was recalled and removed from office for doing the very same thing just a few short years ago! now the same legislature takes punitive action against the taxpayers for what they, the legislature, have allowed, and caused, to happen economically, here in California. now, they demand we "pony up" for their incredible irresponsibility.

we now live under a bureaucracy that will not hesitate to persecute citizens that are not able to "pony up" due to uncontrolled circumstances created by the very bureaucracy that created the crisis in the first place.

you'll notice i said "persecute"? i use that term simply because what is done under "the law" is not fair and just, or moral, in most cases...especially in most case law.

why should an entity have the right to take away something a person has worked for and paid in full for because they are no longer able to pay a tax or fee?

we need CHANGE...we're getting change...but i doubt the American people are going to like the "change" we are now getting, very soon.
